In this lesson, we explore humility as the foundation for effective prayer. Humility is not pious “religiosity.” Rather, humility is recognition that we all have within us the same pride of Adam and Eve which brought about the Fall. You will learn to walk in humility as the gateway to the grace and favor of God.

The Bible is full of stories of humility. In this lesson, you will discover the relation between abiding and humility, as well as character traits of humble people. You will be challenged to return to your first love in humility and repentance.

Are you being held back by unforgiveness? Jesus is our radical example of forgiveness. At the cross, Jesus cried out, “Father forgive them for they know not what they do.” How much more, then, should we walk in forgiveness?

There is such depth in our need to understand we need to let go and forgive and forget the hurts, offenses, sins, and harms of others towards us. RT Kendall said, “Confidence toward God is ultimately what radical forgiveness is all about.” In this lesson, you will learn two key elements of relationship and discover how to forgive hurts.

Being generous of spirit is a great way to live. It is a general misconception that generosity is all about money and donations of money. However if you look at the character of God—God is Love—generosity is Love in action. Generosity is trust and faith and knowing God as Father.

When we start to look at generosity we see it means a whole new way of thinking and living. God is an extravagant giver. Let us consider generosity from God’s perspective: “for God so loved the world…” (John 3:16). It is then that we will truly attract the favor of God.

Lesson 9: Manage the Lord’s Tithe 

Most Christians have been taught about the Biblical principle of tithing, yet many struggle to adhere to the principle as the tangible pressures of life strain their finances. Even if the desire exists to give the tithe, the fear of financial deficit can easily keep a person from giving it with a free heart. Many do not stop to consider that the tithe is not supposed to be the “good Christian bill” that gets paid to the church, but actually serves as a practical purpose in your life and relationship with the Lord. In this lesson, Craig teaches specifically about what the Bible says about the tithe and what purposes God wants it to accomplish in your finances.

Do you believe that it normal and unavoidable to have financial debt in your life? Most people today truly do believe it is and go through life with the pressure to repay their mortgage, credit card bills, or other debt or face the undesirable consequences. In this lesson you will learn what God’s attitude towards debt is, and why being indebted is not something He ever intended for us.

Carrying debt has different risks involved besides the constant worry of making monthly payments or facing the normal collection consequences if you default. Historically, there is a drastic transfer of wealth during an economic shaking, and it usually catches people who are on the wrong side of the wealth transfer equation completely by surprise. How do you know which side of the equation you are on, and change sides if you don’t like where you are? In this lesson Craig explains what the wealth transfer equation is and how you can posture yourself to be on the right side of the equation when it happens.

People who are in debt are typically not pleased to be there, and if they serve God are even less pleased when they are convicted of the bondage they are in. The Spirit of Mammon wants them to believe they are trapped and that it is hopeless to escape their predicament, which is the complete opposite of what God wants to make happen. How can you break the hold that the Spirit of Mammon has and get rid of your debt? In this lesson, you will learn practical steps to take that will place your trust back in the Lord and allow Him to work supernaturally through you to eliminate your debt.

In the final lesson of this course, you will learn how God not only gives you what you need through direct provision, but desires to multiply what you already have. The key factor for this is He needs something to multiply for this to happen! If you apply the financial principles you have learned in this course, you can give God something to work with in your finances and prepare the way for the multiplication He wants to deposit in your life!
